Humans and vampires have the ability to hide. Humans can do this innately, while vampires require a specific perk to gain this ability. The effectiveness of hiding is influenced by the surrounding lighting conditions: when the lights are on, you are easier to find; when they are off, you are harder to detect. Vampires can take additional perks to further enhance their ability to remain hidden. Additionally, hiding can impact the effectiveness of perks that are designed to locate you. You are able to perform certain actions while hidden.
