Halloween 2026
This is a page that gives info on the 2026 Halloween event. This year will be a very different event as it will feature the first iteration ever on "Dungeons", a space that gives you limited lives and limited amount of AP use in said space to complete objectives.
Important: The Crafting section on this page only has the new batch of items for this event, please refer to the crafted items wiki page for previous items which are MOSTLY still available to craft. There will also be some NPC's not in the dungeon. The list is as follows below after the dungeon explanation.
Halloween 2026 Info
The main part of this event is a "dungeon" that requires work to go through.
The actual objectives will be to get keys. The actual steps are as follows.
- Gain a Halloween key. This is dropped either by the cellar creature in the basement section of the evil cabin (515,504) , or the Halloween Gatekeeper, also located at the evil cabin (515,504). Once you have this key a portal will open up in the evil cabin. You can then take this portal to the dungeon. Keep in mind, this key is used up upon entry, so if you are ejected from the dungeon, you will need to fight those NPC's to get the key again.
-Once in the dungeon, there are a couple of rules. The dungeon provides you 4 lives, once you die 4 times the game kicks you out to the main map. There is also a limit of 200 AP in the dungeon, once that is used you will be kicked back to the main map as well. A distinction - attacks are not counted as part of your AP pool. Everything but attacks will tick down your AP pool.
- In the dungeon, your main goal will be to make keys to be able to enter the main spot, the mansion de l'ombre. in order to access this mansion, you must procure 3 key parts. These key parts upon crafting will provide 5 keys to the mansion. They are used upon entry so its up to you to share with friends for teamwork or use all five for yourself. It is possible (though unlikely) to be able to get all the parts in 24 hours, assuming you are dedicated enough.
- The way to get the key parts is fairly straightforward.
1. One key part is dropped by Dandy/Demonic Jack. He is located in the main area of the dungeon
2. One key part is dropped by Boneharrow or his new minions at a lower rate in his own sub area in the dungeon, there is a portal to it in one of the crypts to the main area of the dungeon.
3. One key part is going to be located on The Gorgon. This will require you to leave the dungeon. She is located like last year around the casino in Roja.
Once crafted, you can fight the new boss (among other things) in the dungeon when you access the mansion. The Mansion also has some goodies hidden, along with some lore items hidden about it.
The event introduces three new status effects. Envenom (similar to scorched but its poison, can be healed by normal poison healing items at a lower success rate than poison. There is also visible and extra visible. These stop you from being able to hide. Players will not be able to use extra visible and is boss exclusive.
Important note 1 - A lot of the NPC's are not able to be stunned in normal means (Terrify, monsterbane etc) as we found when testing that it made the event rather easy with that enabled.
Important note 2 - A number of npc's will not be returning this event, along with some new ones appearing. The Alien Clowns will not be making an appearance this year, because they will actually becoming permanent npc's after the event is over (so will the cellar creature, actually) . The Nightmare bird and other npcs that dropped restricted craft will not be appearing this year, their drops have been shifted to the "so called witch" and the so called witches more annoying drop (cauldron) can be found on the dungeon map. The Witches will be spawning in the dungeon. Dream Demons and Killer Dolls will not be making an appearance this year. Plague Doctor's will still be around but only in the dungeon map.
Last note - I am purposefully leaving out any mansion items and details from this document.
